Our company, Veritone, Inc., has developed a proprietary artificial intelligence platform that unlocks the power of cognitive computing so that unstructured audio and video data can be processed, transformed, correlated and analyzed in a seamless, automated manner to generate actionable intelligence. The cloud-based, open platform integrates an ecosystem of a variety of best-of-breed cognitive engines, which can be orchestrated together to reveal valuable multivariate insights from vast amounts of data.

Our platform is built using Node.js, JavaScript, AngularJS, Go and Postgres. So if you have experience with those technologies and frameworks, then great! If not, we are also interested in speaking with Senior Engineers who are at an expert-level with Java and coming from a company working on software-as-a-service products.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• 5+ years working on SaaS solutions
• Expertise with Object Oriented Javascript, preferably Node.js
• Strong RDBMS skills (PostgreSQL)
• Knowledgeable with front-end frameworks (AngularJS or ReactJS)
• Experience in building scalable and RESTful APIs
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or solid knowledge of CS fundamentals (OOP, design patterns, algorithms, etc…)
