Senior SAP PI/PO Consultant

CIYIS is looking for a senior SAP PI/PO consultant in the NYC metro area!

The Senior SAP PI/PO (Process Integration / Process Orchestration) consultant is responsible for supporting, designing, and delivering interfaces between SAP and Non-SAP systems that combine functional business processes with technical

message based integration development tools. The PI/PO Developer understands the overall SAP enterprise system landscape and can translate functional requirements between SAP components within the core enterprise solution as well as integrate to

external systems and applications. The PI/PO developer is involved in all phases of the life cycle implementation, including blueprinting, mapping, prototype, design, configuration, testing, go-live, user training and post production

support. The complexity of interfaces may vary, however

they need to scale and be highly reliable for complex enterprise system environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a sound SAP PI/PO production environment.
• Design, build, support, and monitor SAP interfaces; develop and maintain data mappings, JAVA mappings, XSLT mappings, EDI and XML communications, PI Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs.
• Configure File, FTP, SFTP HTTP/HTTPs, PROXY, IDOC, SOAP, SQL adapters, ALE, and IDOC with SAP PI/PO as messaging service.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions for production and development issues.
• Message monitoring to ensure solutions are performed as expected.
• Document test plans and complete unit testing of developed objects.
• Participate in collaboration on break/fixes, enhancements and projects.
• Providing daily operational production support and 24×7 callout support.
• Stay up to date on SAP Integration advancements and make recommendations regarding improvements to processes and procedures.
• Close collaboration with the Business SME’s, SAP Development, Basis, and Functional teams.
• Provide 24×7 application support in Severity 1 situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience working on Interfaces using SOAP, IDOC, File, AS2, VAN-IDX and DoD EDI experience setting up and maintaining trading Partners.
• Supporting any issues with existing PI setups by documenting issues in an issue log using Jira portal and resolve issues in conjunction with the ERP integration team. Experience in creating the Interfaces based on external Schemas includes XSD, XML, and WSDL.
• Experience preparing Technical Specification, Unit Test Plan and Benchmark Testing for the Interfaces.
• 10+ years of hands-on SAP PI/PO development and integration experience.
• 8+ years of EDI translation experience with PO, ASN, and Invoice integration with SAP.
• 8+ years of ALE/IDOC experience working with standard, extended, and custom iDocs.
• 8+ years of experience with SAP PI Adapters for IDOC, File, SFTP, HTTP, SOAP, and Proxy.
• 5+ years of experience with HTML/XML/WSDL/XSD, JSON, BADI, BAPI.
• 5+ years of hands-on Java development and integration.
• 4+ year of experience with SAP Netweaver Design Studio.
• Strong Analytical and relationship building skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong positive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take direction from several individuals and be self-directed.

Educational & Work Qualifications:

• 4 Year degree in computer sciences, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• No visa sponsorship available
