Your Role

We are looking for an ambitious and talented Senior .Net Developer to join our tech team. The Senior .Net Developer designs, modifies, writes, and implements software programming applications and components; supports and/or installs software applications and components; works with written specifications and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and maintains documentation of process flow.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned. Specific duties include the following:

Build and maintain web applications and APIs using .NET MVC, C#, Razor, JavaScript, and various web frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery, Google, Kendo, Knockout, Angular, etc.)

Grow into the knowledge expert in certain areas of our code base (Entity Framework with SQL Server, OWIN and Asp.Net Identity around membership providers, connecting our platforms with others using SSO – OAuth/SAML data transfer, etc.)

Assist in design and development of new websites and mobile apps

Consumer facing mobile app and api to connect data from home based health devices such as scales and blood pressure monitors with our Pharmacy EHR platform

Email and SMS campaign engines

Examine areas of opportunity to improve the scalability of our technology stack, including working as a team to make architecture and technology framework decisions

Remain vigilant as a developer and a key member of our Technology team that we operate in a regulated environment, process HIPAA protected information, and therefore everything we do has to reflect our commitment to security

Ensure the control, reliability, performance, and security of all network systems

Establish standards, guidelines, and processes for all network systems

Define, prioritize, schedule, and monitor multiple technical projects, developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans / schedules

Provide senior management with accurate and complete status information

Research / assess available network technologies as required to support PrescribeWellness goals

Advise management on the viability of using specific systems and diverse or new technologies

Skills, Education, and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

7+ years of experience in software development

Understanding of object-oriented design and programming, client-server architecture and relational database design

Knowledge of .NET Framework 4.0 and ability to work with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework and ADO.NET

Experience with .Net Core, Node.Js, and React a plus

5+ years of experience using T-SQL with the ability to write stored procedures, views, functions, etc. and have a good understanding of database modeling

Knowledge of client-side technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS preferred

Experience using Git for source control

Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio

Experience with OpenID such as IdentityServer

Understanding of design patterns and object-oriented programming
