Senior .Net Developer

Job Summary
This resource will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications on the Microsoft .NET platforms. This individual should have a passion for software development & innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight on strategic enterprise projects and enhancing existing applications. The following job responsibilities would apply to this position:

  • Work with the Crowe’s Information Services (IS) Service Delivery Platform team to design, build, implement, and support a set of internally used applications built on the Microsoft technology stack
  • Perform Full Systems Life Cycle, (plan, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain) effectively
  • Devise logic and technical procedures
  • Perform coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
  • Develop conversion and system implementation plans
  • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
  • Build solutions and perform maintenance that are technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
  • Develop estimates and complete assignments on time and within budget
  • Conduct research when necessary, advise on new relevant technology, and evaluate alternative solutions
  • Provide third level application support for portfolio of applications used internally by the firm.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing diverse enterprise applications with diverse solutions using the Microsoft Technology Stack and the .Net framework.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASP.Net development.
  • Knowledge of Transact SQL (T-SQL) syntax and database development on SQL Server.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with people from many different disciplines.
  • Strong technical writing skills; able to create technical drawings for solution proposals.
  • Solid logic and problem-solving methods
  • Willing to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our customers.
  • Professional self-starter; organized and self-directed.
  • Able to project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions.
  • Estimate an annual average of 5 to 10% overtime. Overtime may be required on occasion in order to meet critical deadlines
  • Estimated Travel – potential of 1 – 2 overnight(s) per month associated with team assignments
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Skill Sets Desired:

  • Experience with the SharePoint Client Side Object Model (CSOM), JavaScript Object Model (JSOM) and SharePoint and Office Add-ins preferred
  • Experience with REST and OData preferred
  • Experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server preferred
  • Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology preferred
