Netflix is a global company with over 117 million members and we’ll spend billions of dollars on content to delight our customers. To fund this spending, we’ll be active in the capital markets and will also be looking for mergers and acquisitions opportunities to enhance our service.
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional in support of these initiatives. Reporting to the VP, Investor Relations and Corporate Development, this individual will help manage the company’s interactions with Wall Street. Across both sellside and buyside analysts and both equity and debt investors. In this role, you will also be involved with our capital raising efforts and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
  • Helping to craft and shape the Netflix investment story for investors
  • Engaging with buyside and sellside analysts to ensure a sound understanding our company fundamentals
  • Managing our participation in Wall Street conferences and organizing investor meetings
  • Coordinating the quarterly earnings process with senior management
  • Working with the Corporate Development team in assessing M&A opportunities
  • Research and analyze specific sub-sectors of entertainment
Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have strong analytical expertise and be highly effective in both written and verbal communication. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
Requirements:
  • Experience in high yield investing or high yield debt strongly preferred
  • 6+ years in a finance/analytical role (e.g. FP&A, management consulting, banking, investment management, etc.);
  • Experience in fixed income investing strongly preferred
  • Superb financial modeling skills and extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Deep knowledge of media & entertainment industry
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, but also able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering/computer science or other relevant field that demonstrates quantitative competence; master’s degree preferred
