Senior Healthcare Economics Consultant

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and evolve the affordability initiatives model
Support complex contractual financial arrangements
Provide data analysis, contract auditing, and metrics reporting to management
Develop, analyze and monitor new, routine and ad hoc reports
Interpret and analyze claims, membership and provider data in support of risk and quality initiatives
Work independently and interact with peers

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2 + years of financial, accounting or auditing experience
Proficient with MS SQL, Access and Excel for data analysis and presentation
Ability to work with and manage large amounts of data
Strong facilitation, critical thinking, problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

Medical cost or healthcare financial analysis experience
Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc)
