Senior Full Stack Developer

Complex Rehab Systems is seeking an experienced full time or part time Senior Fullstack Developer (C#/Xamarin/SQL Server) who will help lead in the development of an exciting 3D scanning application.

Join in the leadership of a small team of skilled C# developers to work on a 3D scanning product for clinicians in the field of Complex Rehab. As a Senior Developer, you will enjoy benefits such as working remotely and flexible hours. Candidates should have extensive experience in web or native mobile application development using C#, and preferably some exposure to Xamarin and cross-platform native development.

You will largely be insulated from the product owners and specifying requirements, but you will be expected to make contributions to the technical design and architecture of new features. You will have significant opportunities to take ownership of large projects, and will contribute to the technical direction of the company.

Skills Overview

Required: >5 yrs experience, C# 6, Microsoft SQL Server, ASP.NET WebApi or ASP.NET Core.

Desired: Microsoft Azure, Xamarin, UWP, EF6 with code first migrations, C/C++, 3D graphics, NUnit, TeamCity, RhinoMocks, AutoFac, MVVM architectures, git and feature branching, comfortable participating in code reviews, and has good UX/UI sensibilities.

Working remotely is an option. Pay is commensurate with skills and experience.

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer with a passion for quality to join our fast-growing well established startup. RADAR is a multi-patented, award-winning SaaS product hosted in AWS. We help Privacy Officers at Fortune 100 companies and other organizations in heavily-regulated industries manage and evaluate regulated data incidents to help ensure compliance with breach notification regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll be part of small, self-organizing, cross-disciplinary teams leading the implementation of new features and UX using AngularJS & Bootstrap building on top of APIs and services you will be writing in Go. The applications we’re developing use progressive UX, responsive web design and scalable asynchronous cloud technologies.

Our Technical Stack

Our front-end stack is AngularJS, Bootstrap, Karma, and Gulp. Our backend includes Go micro services and a legacy .Net service. We follow the 12-factor app methodology and the infrastructure is all declarative. We use Docker/containers for development. In AWS, we use CloudWatch, CloudTrail, IAM, EC2, Cloud Formation and Lambda. As a team, we use GitHub, JIRA / Confluence and Slack to model lightweight XP-style Agile processes and track requirements, decisions, and continuous improvement through the lifecycle of feature development.

What We’ve Gotta Have

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience as a software developer, with experience working in the full stack and developing with multiple programming languages.
  • Experience developing software as a product.
  • Linux/Unix background.
  • Experience creating web applications with a deep understanding of the HTTP request lifecycle.
  • Excitement for and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, with agility to pivot priorities as needed.

Omage is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our small, collaborative and diverse team of highly energetic people, who are passionate about executing on our vision. The Senior Full Stack Developer will be the lead engineer across our entire stack, including primary development of the backend features, data warehouse and ingestion engine. They will work closely with a future UX Designer to build a sleek and responsive experience for our customers.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of full stack experience, including experience leading development of a full stack product
  • Hands-on experience with data mining, machine learning, data visualization and IoT solutions.
  • Experience in the healthcare, academic research, fitness technology or elder care industry is a big plus
  • Expertise defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs
  • Successful collaboration with a web designer to translate front-end design specs from wireframe concepts to working code. A detail oriented individual with an eye for front-end design is highly preferred
  • Proficient in deploying applications and services across the Azure or AWS
  • Thrive in a coding environment that emphasizes well-defined conventions and programming patterns
  • Excellent communication skills and authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship required

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

5+ Years:

  • Building secure, object-oriented database applications in PHP and/or Python using established programming patterns such as MVC
  • Front-end code in Javascript, jQuery, and Ajax
  • Architecting, designing, and maintaining SQL Server solutions requiring high-volume ETL transactions and analytics data stores
  • Writing code without frameworks, or with micro frameworks such as Flask, Pyramid, Slim or Lumen
  • Using Git for source control and code deployment
  • Deploying, running, and managing code in a Linux environment

3+ Years:

  • Writing responsive HTML/CSS
  • Creating ETL systems that clean/aggregate/move data from transactional databases into a data warehouse
  • Creating data visualizations using either front-end graphing libraries such as d3, back-end charting libraries, or raw generation of custom SVG elements. Prior experience with business intelligence and analytics is desired
