Senior Corporate Accountant

The Financial Reporting Senior will be responsible for providing support and leadership in the preparation of financial statements and all SEC filings and will assist with accounting for complex and non-routine transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Integral in the preparation and coordination of financial statements, all SEC filings, press releases and other internal and external ad hoc reporting

Preparation of the monthly cash flow statement and equity roll forward

Supporting XBRL tagging and review process

Assist with the administration and accounting for share-based compensation expense

Assist with the accounting for deferred revenue

Assist with quarterly and annual impairment analysis for long-lived and indefinite-lived assets

Assist in managing the external quarterly review and annual audit process and preparation of required supporting schedules.

Preparation of technical accounting white papers, as needed, to support conclusions reached on significant accounting transactions and issues

Assist with the coordination and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting Other duties and special projects as assigned SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

CPA (or actively pursuing)

3 to 6 years of relevant experience including 2+ years of experience with large public accounting firm

Experience preparing and/or auditing SEC filings

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Advanced excel and business writing skills

Strong organizational skills

Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Analytical and problem-solving capability

Ability to build collaborative relationships across functional areas

Ability to exert up to 15 lbs. occasionally
