Senior COBOL Programmer Analyst

Job Description:

Position Summary: The Senior Programmer Analyst will be involved in development, maintenance, and support in Royal Oaks manufacturing environment. Applications will include Payables, Receivables, Order Entry, Order Processing, Purchasing, Sales and Inventory. This position will deal with every aspect of project Life Cycle, interacting directly with the users and/or management, define needs, design, create and implement solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

· Gain Understanding of user requirements

· Develop new reports and enhance current reports.

· Create and/or modify on-line CICS systems to support changing business environment.

· Perform implementation activities

· Construct coding changes to modules

· Create and Modify JCL as requirements change

· Resolve production system problems

· Correct system defects

· Develop relationships with other departments to ensure successful completion of projects.

· System research for end user and technical questions.

· Map data from outside sources.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

· COBOL. Minimum 3 years in a production environment

· CICS

· VSAM

· JCL

· Easytrieve

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 /year
