Senior Accountant

Cradlepoint Boise, ID Accounting

Cradlepoint is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team and own day-to-day general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have operational accounting experience in the tech industry and an eagerness to support all aspects of accounting. You will be integral part of our accounting team and be a hands-on individual who enjoys a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Responsibilities

  • Perform hands on day-to-day financial/accounting activities for the company
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for continuous company improvement
  • Review financial results, provide variance analysis and investigate and resolve issues
  • Assist with ERP conversion and implementation
  • Perform bank account reconciliations
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Prepare month-end accruals
  • Track and reconcile GL accounts and assist in other reconciliations as needed
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Other accounting duties as assigned
    Qualifications

    • Desire to improve the status quo and implement process improvements
    • Must be able to meet or exceed deadlines
    • Strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
    • Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal partners on issues
    • Possess excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical, and reconciliation skills
    • Ability to work autonomously
    • Experience in and advanced user of Microsoft Excel
    • Experience with hardware and software subscription products
      Experience:

        • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, CPA is a plus
        • 5+ years general accounting experience
        • Public accounting (preferably Big 4) experience is a big plus
        • Start-up or similar experience in a fast-paced agile environment
