Job Description

We are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate the Agile processes on software projects related to medical devices developed at our S. Paul Tech Center facility. Responsibilities include sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint demos and retrospective meetings within a highly regulated environment. The individual chosen for this position must be able to work cooperatively in a small to medium sized group and with representatives from other functional groups. Good communication skills, both oral and written, are a must for this position.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, schedule and facilitate the following meetings: daily scrums, spring planning, demo and retrospectives.

• Manage the scrum process by coordinating the team and working with other groups.

• Work with team to be able to determine velocity and tasks that can be taken on.

• Shield team from outside distractions and interferences.

• Track progress during sprints and project to determine and communicate status

• Work with team to improve the creativity and efficiency of the team.

• Serve as coach and mentor during transition to Agile Required

• Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks

• 4+ Years Scrum Master Experience

• Support Continuous Integration environment using C++

• Bachelor’s degree

• Knowledge of Software Development Practices

• Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred

• Scrum certified

• Experience working on team transitioning from Waterfall method to Agile

• Jira/Confluence experience

• Medical Device Software Development Experience

• Linux
