Business Overview

The Intermediate Holding Company (“IHC”) program structured at the U.S. level across poles of activities of BNP Paribas provides guidance, supports the analysis, impact assessment and drives adjustments of the U.S. platform’s operating model due to the drastic changes introduced by the Enhanced Prudential Standards (“EPS”) for Foreign Banking Organizations (“FBOs”) finalized by the Federal Reserve in February 2014, implementing Section 165 of U.S. Dodd-Frank Act.

Responsibilities

The Senior SAS developer will be working within CCAR IT team. He/she will contribute to the implementation of the SAS platforms: SAS Risk Modeling Workbench and SAS Capital Planning and Management. He/she will be primarily in charge of:

  • Designing application components to meet functional requirements in collaboration with business analysts
  • Developing and maintaining data mappings, data load processes into the SAS platforms
  • Creating and maintaining data structures
  • Implementing and maintaining formulas in SAS CPnM according to functional requirements
  • Perform unit testing of the components and integrate software testing according to the software test plan.
  • Ensure that all code changes are tracked and recorded through a change management process and that development is scheduled and approved
  • Provide Release Deployments on non-Production Management controlled environments
  • Capture Build and Deployment notes, develop Software Product Deployment & Operating Instructions
  • Perform technical change requests scheduled according to Release Management processes
  • Provide Level 3 support for SAS CPnM & Risk Modelling Workbench platforms

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS) or related field with minimum of 3 years of SAS experience
  • Strong SAS Programming skills with proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS/Macros and proc SQL.
  • Strong experience in using SAS Data Integration Studio to extract, transform and load source data into SAS
  • Experience in SAS Capital Planning and Management / SAS Financial Management is a big plus
  • Experience with SAS Visual Analytics / SAS LASR Analytic Server is a plus
  • Strong understanding of software design principles and development best practices within the software development life cycle.
  • Excellent written, oral communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in the financial services industry working on CCAR/Accounting/Regulatory or Risk Management projects
