SAS Developer (E)

The SAS Consultant will provide insight and support for SAS UNIX server application environments. You will contribute to coordination and planning of all SAS BI related activities. Must have working knowledge of SAS BI, DI and Analytics, as well as strong knowledge and experience designing and implementing SAS BI Security modules. Experience with design and development of data warehouse, reporting, and business intelligence. An ideal candidate will have experience with BI and analytics tools such as Business Objects and Cognos, database knowledge with Oracle or SQL Server, and Teradata and ETL tools such as Informatica.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Analyze, develop, design, code, test, and debug documents pertaining to business requirements.

• Exercise application development skills and execute multiple design techniques.

• Partner with stakeholders and key executives to understand needs.

• Design and develop solutions to meet customer expectations.

• Ensure automated reporting runs as expected.

• Ability to maintain and manage multiple ongoing projects.

Qualifications:

• Experience with SAS BI tools.

• Extensive experience with SAS Base and other key SAS components.

• Able to perform data steps, arrays, loops, and SAS Macros.

• Ability to work with SAS and Windows and UNIX environments.

• Working history of SAS design and development.

• Bachelor’s Degree required with emphasis in Computer Sciences, Engineering, Business Intelligence, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Understanding of Apache Tomcat and IBM WebSphere.

• SAS components such as SAS Management Console, SAS Forecast Server, SAS Analytics, and SAS Enterprise Miner.

• Experience within a Healthcare enterprise is a plus
