SAP FICO Functional Consultant

Softtek Integration Systems, Inc. currently seeking a SAP FICO Functional Consultant to develop conceptual and detailed solutions designs of SAP applications enhancements to meet business needs to support our client near Seattle, WA. Perform necessary configurations in SAP, writing detail functional specifications and test documentation. This is a Full-Time Position.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies benefits, risks, and alternatives in proposed system designs and their impact on the integration with other systems and SAP modules
• Oversee the delivery of service, maintenance, and enhancement requests under area of responsibility from the Application Managed Services vendors (AMS)
• Review plans for SAP COE projects under area of responsibility and ensure resources and support plans are known and agreed to
• Participate in the planning and execution of releases to SAP production environments
• Ensure documentation is prepared and maintained according to SAP COE standards, including functional and technical specifications, run books, and testing scripts
• Communicate with SMEs across the ITE landscape regarding operational support of SAP, with focus on integration with dependent processes and applications

Qualifications and Requirement

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration or another relevant field is required.
• Minimum of eight (5) years of experience in service delivery in SAP Finance in a production environment with SAP ECC 6.0, with a year minimum of hands on experience in Enhancement Package 5, or above, environment.
• Minimum of five (5) years of SAP functional experience, specializing in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules (FI-CO).
• Knowledge of Finance integration with one or more of the following modules: SAP Grants Management (GM), Human Capital Management (HCM), SAP Treasury, Project Systems (PS), Funds Management (FM)
• Minimum two (2) full life cycle implementation of SAP FI-CO modules required.
• Experience communicating technical and business solutions and issues to all levels of individuals, including business and technical managers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across a complex and diverse group of stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Knowledge of another official Bank language (Spanish, Portuguese and/or French) is required
• One-year minimum of experience as a Project Manager would be a plus. PMP certification preferred.
