Position Title: Revenue Accountant

Location: Westford, MA

Position Summary: As a Revenue account you will develop financial models to support revenue recognition, VSOE, BESP, and revenue forecasting. Other responsibilities will include:

Provide financial support to sales in the preparation and analysis of sales opportunities

Track and monitor customer orders, shipments and invoices by account

Assist Revenue Controllers in revenue recognition using Revpro

Assist in documenting internal controls using SOX checklists

Compile quarter end revenue binders – softcopy

Support systems and business processes for revenue recognition

Ensure completeness of all documentation for revenue recognition

Assist in automation projects, as required

Research and resolve reporting issues, as required

Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related business major.

3-5 years’ experience in an accounting environment, preferably in revenue recognition group, for a technology company with software and hardware products

Oracle experience strongly preferred

Previous software revenue recognition experience strongly preferred

Experience preparing reports for management using database and spreadsheet software

Ability to effectively analyze and prioritize information

Experience building financial models

Team player, willing to work in fast paced, dynamic working environment

Must be proficient in Excel
