What We’re Looking For:
Clean Market is opening a cafe within its flagship retail location in NYC. We’re looking for part-time baristas who have a passion for health and wellness and preferably a background in Nutrition. These team members will share their knowledge and expertise with our customers. Food and Beverage experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shares extensive product knowledge with customers with passion and integrity.
• Prepares and presents food & beverages according to established recipe and presentation standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment according to regulations.
• Records and accurately processes purchases using the POS system.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all guests in every scenario.
• Executes daily schedule, opening & closing procedures, and assigned shift tasks as directed by leadership.
• Shares valuable store and customer feedback with leadership to make improvements in the success of the store.
• Assists with special events as assigned.
• Assists with inventory management- receiving shipments and putting away stock in an organized fashion.
• Welcomes all customers into the store with a warm and friendly greeting.
• Builds rapport with customers by recommending products and services that best suit their needs.
• Encourages customers to return to the store for another visit, service, product, or event.

Requirements:

• Certified Health Coach
• 2+years experience in food and/ beverage preparation is preferred
• Basic knowledge of food service procedures, functions, and safety
• Basic computer knowledge
• Passion for health and wellness and willingness to learn
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Exceptional time management and decision making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast- paced, rapidly evolving environment
• Ability to lift up to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
