Retail Associate

The Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers’ (GoodwillSR) Retail Associate is responsible for creating excellent relationships with donors, customers and co-workers and ensuring that all guests are treated to a great donating and shopping experience. He or she cross- trains in all aspects of the production and retail environment to include: processing donations (sorting, pricing, and stocking the sales floor), operating the cash register and offering excellent customer assistance. The Retail Associate communicates both policy and mission knowledge to customers and donors and he or she supports GoodwillSR’s mission of “Developing People, Changing Lives, Building Communities”.

A full-time position averages 30-40 hours per week and a part-time position averages 20-29 hours per week (hours can and will fluctuate based on, but not limited to, business needs, i.e., seasonal changes, donation changes, etc. and operating days may fluctuate based on store location but can include Monday-Sunday operating days).

The Newnan retail store, located on Thomas Crossroads and Bullsboro Dr., is currently looking for hard-working and dedicated retail team members to fill several full time and part time open positions.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Prior experience in a retail environment will be considered in lieu of education.

• Prior experience working in a retail or customer service related environment; preferred.

• Cashier experience; a plus.

• Warehouse experience; a plus.
