Representative (Call Center)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Call Center Representative is responsible for resolving escalated customer issues while providing unparalleled customer service. Working in a call center environment, the ESR will track complex issues, or cases, that require mediation, and achieve customer satisfaction, volume and timeline quotas.

  • Serve as a point of escalation for calls requiring a high degree of expertise, discretion, and mediation.
  • Research to resolve customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Document cause, actions taken and resources required to resolve customer issues, utilizing call management tools to log calls.
  • Follow-up to assure resolution of issues and achieve closure.
  • Analyze complaints/issues to identify cause and make necessary recommendation for process change.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure complete and prompt resolutions for customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma. Additional training or schooling in business or direct experience a plus.
  • Minimum of one year applicable experience required in a call center e nvironment
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to quickly learn new software applications.
