Relationship Banker – Coral Gables Branch

The position of Relationship Banker is responsible for:

• Supporting operational activities and financial services in the Branch
• Processing all new account transactions
• Providing customers with exceptional customer service by assisting them in their selection of various products and financial services by answering customer questions, resolving problems/concerns
• Cross-selling the Bank’s products and services; opening and maintaining accounts and client relationships.
• Promoting business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations and referring customers to appropriate staff for new services.
• Cross-trained and skilled in the areas of teller, vault, preparation of credit approval requests, safe deposit, processing DDA lines of credit, accepting credit applications
• Interview customers to obtain information; establishes proper identification of new customers;determines need and extent of reference investigation; assists customers in completing credit applications.

Requirements

• AA Degree in Business or other related field (may be in progress) or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of customer service skills in a Banking environment. Community Bank experience is preferred.
• 1-2 years of Bank Teller experience.
• Positive and energetic attitude. Willingness to learn and develop.
• Bilingual(fluently speak and write Spanish & English)
• Careful attention to detail and a team player mentality.
• Broad knowledge of financial services products and services
• Strong interpersonal, communications, sales, organizational and persuasion skills
