Registration Representative – MGH – On Call

Registration Representative is responsible for the patient registration process by obtaining and entering patient data, maintaining statistical data while ensuring accurate and prompt service to all patients. The accurate registration of patients at Monongalia General Hospital is essential to the admission, billing, and patient care process. Strong customer service background preferred. Assists with the monitoring of registered patient condition and notifies appropriate Triage Team Member if needed.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement : High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum Experience Requirement : One to two years’ experience in office and/or hospital setting preferred. Experience with computers, answering multi-line telephones and medical terminology background preferred.

Minimum License Requirement : Basic CPR and First Aide training within 6 months of hire.
