Our team builds distributed services that handle provisioning, life cycle management, performance, and durability of our block storage infrastructure. We are reimagining what’s possible with block storage to provide unparalleled performance and durability with our new large scale distributed services and storage backend. Our services expose highly available, high-performance block storage volumes and backups to our elastic compute customers.

Position Overview:

The ideal software engineer candidate for this team is an effective frontend programmer who is capable of working across different languages, and can operate in a DevOps environment (writing code, testing code, deploying code, and maintaining code). Our team uses React and we are open to considering candidates with other JavaScript framework experience.

We are looking for frontend Developers with a passion for creating customer-centric, impactful web applications. Our features must be elegant, accessible, intuitive, highly available, responsive, and performant.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
