Quality Control Engineer / Entry Level Software Developer

Biometrics4ALL provides solutions and web based services for fingerprint based background check and law enforcement arrest booking markets. We design, develop, and engineer advanced software solutions servicing 2600+ customers in 20 countries. Biometrics4ALL continues to grow at a rate of 20+% every year and have been profitable and debt free for 12 consecutive years.

We are hiring multiple Quality Control Engineers at QC I and QC II levels who will thrive in a fast-paced environment. We offer excellent career path for technology professionals and 70% of our Software Engineering Team were promoted from the Quality Control Team.

HIRING CONDITIONS: Must reside in Orange County or nearby. No relocation will be considered. Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident per our industry regulations. No Visa sponsorship or Practical Training applicants will be considered. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Configure and test software, hardware, and web applications.
Perform basic level programming in VB.NET, HTML, and XML.
Create/maintain test scripts, test procedures, release notes, and specifications in accordance with external requirements.
Identify product improvements to maximize customer satisfaction.
Provide work effort estimates; plan and complete tasks accordingly.
Assist support team members to resolve difficult issues.

Required Knowledge/Qualifications:

4 Year Computer Science Degree (or equivalent) with a minimum of 3.0 GPA or 4 years of hands-on software QC experience
Solid understanding of XML, object oriented programing, and database
Sound logic and reasoning
Extremely detailed oriented
Excellent organization skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with MS-Office
Excellent typing skill (50+ WPM)
Smart, dedicated, and hardworking
Desire to work 45 hours per week
