QBIT Software Engineer in Test

We are currently seeking a driven Software Engineer in Test (SET) with very strong analytical skills.

To be considered for this role you must have excellent automation testing and development experience, Java programming skills, shell/Perl scripting experience and Unix/Linux experience.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and building automated test frameworks that will monitor end-to-end functionality, performance, and security of our governance and data products. You will be taking part in all phases of SDLC including planning, organization, execution and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field from a reputed institution/university (undergraduate or graduate)
• 2 + years of experience in designing and building automation test frameworks using Java/Selenium stack is preferred. Fresh graduates also can apply.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix, and experience with a scripting language such as Python, Perl, or shell
• Basic Linux systems administration skills and knowledge of a version control system such as Git, SVN
• Development experience with Java, C++ is highly preferred
• Exposure to CI tools like Jenkins and Configuration, Automation management tools like Puppet, Ansible is a plus
• Ability to build test plans from informal specifications given by developers and product managers
• Ability to write basic to intermediate SQL queries and understand RDBMS concepts
