Python Programmer

Imij is a new biotech company in New York seeking to apply newly patented technologies to help understand brain disorders.

We are looking for experienced programmers and scientists to help us translate this vision.

Requirements:

* Proficiency in Python, C++ or C#

* Experience with scientific and image analysis libraries (e.g. NumPY, SciPY, Pandas, Scikit, OpenCV, Pillow, itk)

* Docker, github and AWS

* Experienced in all aspects of the development cycle, including definition, architecture, design, implementation, testing, automation, devops, and documentation

* Ability to work on independent projects.

Strongly preferred skillsets:

* Experience querying with SQL-type database (MySQL/PostgresSQL)

* JQuery, JavaScript, HTML

* Strong design and debugging

* Object oriented programming

* Jupyter and pip maintenance

* AWS/Azure

* Biomedical, biological or neuroscience background

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00 to $130,000.00 /year
