Project Engineer

The Project Engineer leads, oversees and participates in the more complex and difficult work of staff responsible for complex engineering work involving engineering planning, design, investigation and construction of public works projects; prepares engineering plans and specifications; ensures infrastructure designs for either private or public development comply with regional and local master plans; and performs a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

Experience:

No professional (post-license) civil engineering experience is required.

Training:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major in civil engineering or a closely related field.

License and Certificate:

Possession of a valid license as a professional civil engineer in any state on the date of application, and acquisition of a license as a professional civil engineer in the state of Nevada within six months of the date of appointment, and maintenance thereafter.
