About the Role:

The Project Coordinator will work in a group atmosphere supporting multiple Directors, Sr. Managers, and Engineers for the Operations team in Maple Grove. Work under limited supervision with general instructions given on new assignments. Viewed as key functional resource to other functions within the company and provides general administrative support as well as more complex project support.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills-
    • Excel- Advanced formulas, tables & formatting to present impressive data, Conditional formatting, Advanced charting, pivot tables, pivot reporting, VBA & Macros,
    • PowerPoint- Creating from scratch complex messaging with images, multimedia, animations, and transitions,
  • Experience in gathering and preparing data from multiple sources and ensuring on-time submittals for product/process/project research.
  • Translates thoughts into documents (letters/memos/presentations, etc.) using existing material; ensures document is logical and complete as well as accurate in grammar and spelling; makes suggestions for improvements in existing communications.
  • Site communications – internal websites and social media sites. Perform leadership messaging through e-mail, word documents, PowerPoint, signage and videos.
  • Completes project work as required, working with vendors, processing and assisting in work order assignments, including working closly with multiple vendors to meet project deadlines.
  • Event planning – large scale on-site/off-site meetings, events, site tours and employee recognition programs. Experience pre-planning and delegating executable plans, audiovisual support, catering, and agenda management. This includes creating, implementing and processing all facets for events covering multi-continent/global conferences including travel and hotel.
  • Answers complex functional questions that may require additional research and follow-up.
  • Manages work in a confidential manner, ensuring information is shared with internal and external individuals in an appropriate manner; provides guidance to peers as necessary about proprietary information. Confidential information typically consists of company/division or personnel sensitive information.
  • Anticipates, coordinates, and takes ownership for projects/assignments, organizes own schedules, and that of others, to meet deadlines.
  • Training and new hire support – on-boarding process, move support, hardware and software support. Maintaining training assignments and curriculums.
  • Employee recognition programs.
  • Serves as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Contacts are frequent within and outside the organization and involve obtaining or providing information on matters of moderate importance to the organization and may be of a sensitive/confidential nature.
  • Purchasing, billing, and inventory support.

What We’re Looking For In You:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree +6 years or equivalent combination of both related to project coordinator experience supporting a fast-paced organization, including sensitive or confidential information supporting a complex operations team with 1500+ employees.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint – position will generate reports and graphs via pivot tables and aid in creating presentations.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and takes ownership as well as providing sense of urgency with attention to detail.
  • Strong customer-service orientation and professional demeanor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree
  • Microsoft/Systems certificates
