B.S. required (M.S. preferred), in Computer/Electrical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Biological/Medical Science with relevant coursework and experience.

Must have a working knowledge of C/C++, C# and/or Java, Python, and experience with Matlab. Experience with relational data bases (Oracle, MySQL or SQL) desired, but not required. Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in computer systems and software development. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in a research lab and interests in neuroengineering and neuroscience are desirable, but no required.

A minimum of 7 years of experience is required for appointment at the senior level. Prefix will be determined by years of relevant work experience.

Collaborate with neuroengineering and medical research carried out in the laboratories of Dr. Williams and Dr. Populin at the Wisconsin Insititutes for Medical research to design and implement data acquisition and analysis/database tools.

This is a terminal position expected to last for one year from appointment date; with a possibility of an extension of up to an additional year, and the possibility of a change to Fixed Term Renewable status if there is a need for an ongoing appointment and/or funding becomes available.
