Programmer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Design, program, configure, install, and maintain all computer and telecommunications services including IBM iSeries, personal computers, software applications, printers, servers, routers, bridges, switches, modems, cabling, and internet service providers.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
• Establish and maintain network users, user environment, directories, and security.
• Work with third party web developer in maintaining and developing company website.
• Train and assist employees regarding software and equipment usage.
• Partner with management to develop system solutions consistent with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• At least three year’s related work experience.
• Extensive working knowledge of the IBM iSeries.
• Programming skills in various versions of RPG along with knowledge of command language procedures required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
