Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Front-end Web Developer in in our Ann Arbor, MI, or Milwaukee, WI, office.

The Front-end Web Developer is responsible for developing front-end responsive web interfaces. The ability to think analytically, to problem solve and work as part of a close-knit team, as well as an interest in learning new technologies is required of anyone taking on this role.

Responsibilities :

• Responsible for implementing part of the technical solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed design
• Creation of modern, standards compliant, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with multiple team members, including Project Managers, Software Engineers, and Designers, to make sure our projects function correctly and meet the expectations of our clients.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards.
• Take ownership of projects and work toward resolution on obstacles faced in the development process.
• Quickly grasp new technologies and how they apply to our business needs.
• Continually demonstrate the ability to deliver timely results.
• Demonstrate comfort with UI / UX specifications and design comps from source materials like PSDs.

Qualifications :

• 2+ years of professional experience in Web Development
• Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent degree; without a degree, two additional years of relevant professional experience (4+ years in total)
• Proficient knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and jQuery.
• Working knowledge of PHP.
• Knowledge of React/Angular/Backbone and other web frameworks is a plus.
• Experience with Magento 2 preferred.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience in working with code repositories, such as GIT.
• Extreme attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and JavaScript related issues.
• A driving sense of craftsmanship, quality, and ownership.
• Familiarity with e-commerce functionality.
• Ability to apply technology and consulting to solve a client business problem
• Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence
• Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing
• Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package
• Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery
