Program Manager

As the IT Program Manager, you work well with ambiguity, are a natural problem solver, and thrive in an environment where processes are still being matured. You are well organized and disciplined – with a clear history of being able to track and execute multiple actions with various stakeholder communities and juggle priorities to ensure project success.

A look at your day-to-day

This role will manage and drive the IT project portfolio and will be directly responsible for the delivery of key initiatives. The Program Manager must be able to present the current and proposed projects to the IT Steering Committee; identify resource, budget and timeline concerns on active projects; and facilitate the intake process for new system changes for the IT Department.

• Ensure projects are properly resourced from a personnel and budget perspective
• Develop reports on the current time, cost and attainment of goals of existing and proposed projects
• Work with the business to identify and quantify opportunities for proposed projects
• Ensure that all Business Systems Analysts follow the documented project management processes
• Develop IT Steering Committee presentations, and present new business initiatives for consideration
• Work with the business on business justifications, and cost benefit analysis

Now for a little bit about you….

• PMP Certified with a minimum 10 years recent experience managing large enterprise project portfolios
• 10+ years of IT program management, preferably with experience in a Consumer Products environment
• Experience with the Information Technology Industry, ERP (SAP Preferred), CRM (Salesforce), eCommerce (Demandware preferred), departmental systems and Integration tools
• Experienced in leading and managing IT requirements and processes
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience
• Solid verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly and positively communicate with individuals and groups, from technical teams to executive management
• Able to manage project schedules and develop clear project management KPI’s that drive to execution of critical deliverables on time and on budget
