The Program Manager will be responsible for supporting key sales alignment activities for DeviceWorks Solutions and Technologies in a programmatic manner including but not limited to; Sales education on the solution portfolio, creation and maintenance of solution and sales materials, ROI case studies, and value and benefits documentation. Day to day activities include initiating and maintaining key relationships with potential and/or existing clients and solution aligned partners, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of competitors, alignment with direct sales, and driving client and internal education sessions. The Program Manager is technically proficient in the specific area of emphasis with an expectation of becoming the subject matter expert through continuing education and acquiring certification(s) as applicable.

As a key sales alignment position, the role will require sales and account planning activities to generate and drive opportunities for the solution set. This will require working independently as well as in tight alignment with direct sales associates or partner sales teams as appropriate to generate expected business results. The Program Manager role requires a necessary aptitude of assessing broad market opportunities, developing near and long-term whitespace, understands the related Cerner platforms and manages current sales pipeline for the solution set.

This Program Manager role will be focused on supporting Cerner DeviceWorks Integrated Solutions specifically in support of our Infrastructure offerings for Storage, Virtualization, Compute and Hyper Convergence.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Health Care, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience

At least 3 years of work experience in developing and managing programs

Sales and Pipeline Management Experience

Infrastructure knowledge (HP/EMC/Citrix/VMWare)

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Partners/Vendors

Hyper Convergence Knowledge (Nutanix/EMC VXRail)

Health care industry knowledge

Cloud and On-Premise Deployment Knowledge

Understanding of sales and marketing processes and approach

Expectations:
Ability to travel 60%

Residing in or able to relocate to the greater Kansas City area

Detail Oriented

Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Strong relationship building skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Displays exemplary organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Strong business acumen
