Job Title: Professional Services SIEM Engineer

Location: Remote Position – United States

Salary: $90-$120k/yr

We are working with a well-funded, early stage, and high-growth cyber security company that has grown since inception (2013) at a faster rate than Palo Alto Networks, FireEye or Splunk did, adding 87 customers in 2016 and growing 300%.

Of the clients we’re working with, this is the one firm that could go IPO.

The Professional Services team deploys our client’s line of security products at leading global companies across the globe.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers and team members to carry out customer implementations and enhancements.
• Participate in the implementation design, setup, and review processes.
• Build long-standing customer relationships at various levels.
• Work with client teams in resolving technical/system related inquiries.
• Engage in new product launches and other cross-functional initiatives with Engineering and Marketing.

Must Have

• Experience deploying SIEM technologies for a vendor or reseller
• Solid client facing personality
• Linux Command Line proficiency
• Programming languages and scripting skills are an advantage
• Excellent problem solving skills and analytical mind set
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• University degree or equivalent experience

Preference for

• Ideally have thrived in a client-facing role for 1-2 years
• Are a fast learner and great problem-solver
• Love technical problem-solving and are passionate about learning and stretching yourself
• Have fantastic attention to detail, time management and multi-tasking capabilities
• Proximity to a major airline hub and willingness to travel (up to 80%)
