Production Operator (Batch Mixer Filler)

Functions/Responsibilities:

• Load and unload process tanks or tubs.
• Operate inerting system.
• Operate automated bulk dispensing system.
• Operate filling / filter systems.
• Comply with OSHA required activities for PIT. (Check OSHA standard for required duties.)
• Pull stock from manufacturing staging.
• Manufacture product per electronic batch ticket instructions.
• Maintain equipment and tools.
• Comply with DOT regulations for Hazardous Material transport.
• Properly fill containers to their proper weight.
• Properly stage finished product.
• Transfer product from one container to another.
• Complete Self Safety & ASI inspections.
• Perform general 5s housekeeping duties for production and warehouse and docks.
• Comply with all environmental and health and safety procedures.
• Clean and maintain all process equipment.
• Troubles shoot malfunctioning equipment.
• Basic understanding of the SAP manufacturing/inventory system.
• Maintain PIT certification.
• Comply with all Plant /Department safety rules and procedures.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills.
• Basic understanding of electronic batching ticket (EBT).
• Ability to operate computerized bulk distribution system.
• Basic understanding of Human Machine Interface system.
• Available to work 2nd or 3rd shift

Education:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to read and write and do simple arithmetic.

Shifts: 2nd (3pm-11:30PM) or 3rd shift (11pm-7:30am)

Hourly Union Pay: Starting at $19.60 with shift differentials
