Production Manager – Value Stream | Cushions | Companion Products

Summary:
Lead and coordinate efforts within the Value Stream – from managing employees, setting schedules, employee development, coordinating inventory locations with facilities/warehouse operations, to manage inventory counts (full and cycle), provide procurement with material needs, to improvements in the various areas.

Reporting to: Value Stream Manager – Cushions/EP/Companion Productions – Rollin Allen

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage daily work schedules of employees within the team.

Manage timecards, PTO requests, manage employee corrections

Process Improvements – 5S, Lean, Quality Systems, etc.

Monitors, maintains, and track inventory levels.

Perform routine cycle counts.

Collaborate with facility, warehouse, customer delight, and other staff to ensure customer’s needs are being met.

Report to on stock levels, issues, etc.

Requirements

Strong math skills; ability to reconcile stock count reports and existing data

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously – detail oriented.

Ability to develop employee skill sets, Manage teams of 20-50 individuals

Strong skills with Excel, Word, and other MS Office Suit; ability to prepare administrative paperwork

Excellent communication skills; verbal and electronically

Ability to analyze and solve problems.

Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping, resource management.
