You will be helping select and bring in products for our stores by; reviewing and analyzing product categories, building and maintaining relationships with vendors, research products, assist with internal product requests and work with purchasing team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsible for; requesting product samples, set up and maintain vendor files, request return goods authorization, perform cost comparisons, maintain and update price files, data entry and other duties as required.

ABILITIES, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Strong abilities with Excel, Outlook and SAP, attention to detail, organized, good communications skills and a positive attitude.

EXPERIENCE AND BACKGROUND:

Prior purchasing experience (preferred), prior wholesale, hardware or plumbing experience (preferred), high school graduate or equivalent.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to communicate verbally in English

SHIFTS:

Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, some flexibility with schedule)
