Position: Product Engineer
Location: Nashua, NH
Job responsibilities:
Technical expert for one or more connector product lines.
Responsible for product quality, reliability and integrity.
Perform failure analysis on defects from product applications and certain manufacturing processes.
Active participation / integration with product designers in support of design reviews, qualification, testing and introduction
of new products and product derivatives.
Customer focal point in support of technical product information, product applications and general guidance.
Identify and facilitate a variety of project initiatives such as cost improvement, overall quality and product performance.
Assist in the successful transition of products and processes from NPI facility to volume manufacturing into low cost
regions.
Education/skills/experience:
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Science Engineering degree.
3 to 7 years of manufacturing experience.
Connector manufacturing background preferred.
Skills and demonstrated use of problem solving tools for continuous improvement of connector applications,
products and systems.
Strong interpersonal and team working skills.
Experience with FMEA’s, SPC and component manufacturing
