Purpose:
Under Armour is looking for a talented professional to join their team as an IT Analyst for SAP Planning. The right candidate will be responsible for assisting with development, implementation and modeling of merchandise, assortment, demand and supply chain planning systems. This person will become an expert in demand planning processes at UA and will enable world class planning through developing new solutions within the application. The role will be expected to provide analytical results and insights based on simulating, testing, and documenting scenarios to determine optimal demand plans that maximize service levels while accounting for both top and bottom line growth. This role will also assist in integrating demand planning processes and information with supply planning information to simulate strategies for growth potential and potential serviceability issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following:
Work with internal divisions of merchandising, assortment planning, demand planning, supply planning, and sales operations teammates as well as consultants to design, develop, implement and support integrated planning solutions for Retail, wholesale and e-commerce

Provide feedback on master data, transaction data, system integration and data flow across the various SAP (and non-SAP) modules

Provide feedback on the process integration

Work on the process documentation and offer potential improvements based on analytical results

Report on simulations of the integrated planning scenarios and present approaches to systematically determine optimal solutions

Assist in building exception reporting and determine usability and distribution to teammates for full adoption of the solution

Post go-live, work on continuous improvement projects, support packs and system upgrades and support the solutions.

Work with cross-functional business users and impart training and feedback as needed.

Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate:
include but are not limited to the following:
Experience with SAP implementations and supporting SAP solutions

3+ years of merchandise, assortment, and demand Planning experience (preferably providing support and/or superuser experience) using SAP, Logility, JDA, 7th Online, or other type of planning application

Experience supporting SAP HANA, SAP BW and reporting applications preferred.

Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operation Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Information Science

Expert understanding of planning concepts like statistical forecasting, proportion profiling, merchandising planning, assortment planning, new product forecasting techniques, aggregation/disaggregation as well as other MRP and supply chain concepts

Coding experience preferred

Ability to perform root cause identification and develop resolutions

Strong team player with good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to independently drive issue resolution, develop business knowledge and relationships while operating in a rapidly changing business environment
