Applications Developer

PSI Pa x is currently recruiting for a n Applications Developer to sup port our government customer in Baltimore , MD .

Duties & Responsibilities: Provide technical and development support to the government client to implement the SUID application into Security Reports Application (SARA) Gather and refine application specifications and requir ements based on technical needs Works collaboratively in a team-based Agile environment with other technical staff and business owners and subject matter experts that follow the indust ry standard Scrum methodologies Act as self-starter with the ability to take on complex projects and analyses independently Ensure secure coding practices are adhered to in all phases of t he secure development lifecycle Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process. Understand your role in HIPAA compliance and be able to execute t hat role in an effective manner .

Required Qualifications: US Citizen or Green Card Holder Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance Two (2) years of programming experience with JDK, Java Server Pages, Java, and/or Java script programming in a Solaris environment Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL) and PL/SQL recu rsive programming and scripting Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Experience in development of application Web Services using Struts framework Experience using MKS Integrity client Excellent writing and verbal skills and able to communicate effectively

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere, version 8.5.5 Experience with building and deploying applications using ColdFusion Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM) Experience using Toad or any Oracle client Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Visio, and SharePoint Prior SSA experience is a plus .

Education Requirements : Master’s Degree and five ( 5 ) years of experience or ; Bachelor’s Degree and seven ( 7 ) years of experience or ; Eleven ( 11 ) years of relevant work experience in software integration and development in a Software developmen t Lifecycle (SDLC) environment .
