PHP Developer – 100% Remote

Strappberry is a US based company focused in the mobile and Web Development. We are looking for a candidate with experience using Symfony framework for a project with option to be long term. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of development experience in PHP and 1 year of experience in Symfony Framework.

Term: For a project to long term depending on performance.

Salary: 500 – 700 dls DOE

Start: Immediate

Location: Remote (We accept international candidates also)

The Project

The system was written in Symfony and is implemented between 60 to 70%, we need to be able to take online orders and communicate with the mobile devices through the web service, is necessary to implement some modules and some others are already implemented, solve internal URL conflicts. Part of the major tasks that should be addressed are implement Google Maps view and save the location in the database, accept payments with Credit Card (stripe), Paypal and Bitcoins, Admin Panel, Documenting code, Unit testing, Interaction with the API for: Add new billing address (for current customers), List Existing Address for Logged in user, Edit Existing Address, Set billing Address for an order etc…The developer have to be very commitment to the project and serious about the delivery dates. Please do not apply if you don’t know how to use symfony framework 2 and 3.

Required Skills and Experience

• Solid background in PHP / MySQL, or full LAMP stack
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS 3
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Subversion and Git
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience working with critical, large scale web applications
• Experience with integrating payment APIs such as Stripe
