Patient Service Representative

Employment Type: Part-time/29 hours a week. Potential Full time with benefits after 6 months

Business hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 9:00pm.

Pay: $14 + Commission. Top earning agents make $31,500 a year, base + commission

Responsibilities:

This position receives inbound and /or places outbound telephone calls to endorse customer services:

• Promote the benefits, coverage and terms of products to potential patients.
• Receive high volume of incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries in a manner which meets high quality, productivity and other performance standard in accordance with company requirements and patient needs
• Uphold the high standards, guidelines, policies and procedures; especially when interacting with patients.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge and understanding of service coverage.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of proven experience in customer service
• A background in healthcare or a health-related industry
• Basic computer skills and phone knowledge
• Must possess a clear and professional voice for calls
• Strong closing techniques with customer-centered approach and phone skills and proven ability to perform in an unpredictable, fast-paced environment
• History of punctuality and good attendance
• Excellent communication skills
• Independent worker and self-starter
