Part Time Finance / Accounting Opportunity

The right candidates will be responsible for providing President with various accounting/financial reporting of which you will be responsible for creating/implementing. President is looking for visibility, accountability in engineers working on projects, and ensuring profitability.

As a small company, we have a high energy, engaging place to work vs. larger corporate environments. Wo we are looking for flexible, dynamic professionals to help take the business to the next level.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to work 10-15 hours a week, we can be flexible to accommodate schedules.

Sample of the Duties and Responsibilities

• Forecast for revenue and staffing requirements/resource planning
• Bi-Weekly reporting on project financials and also the Weekly Engineering Meeting to help hold our Project Engineers accountable
• Invoice preparation
• Various finance/accounting related functions
• Analyzing various vertical business lines for profitability
• Utilization for various lines of business
• Developed ad-hoc reports to assist managers with their business decisions and act as an advisor in the process.

Preferred Experience:

• Accounting or Finance related role showing experience in the sample duties
• Small company experience a bonus but not required

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree from accredited university in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical background
