Outside Sales Representative

Location: Midwest Region

We are looking for a Outside Sales Rep to lead and grow our team and business. As our new Outside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for growing sales throughout the Midwest region by increasing product placement and providing unparalleled service to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Own your region. Identify all potential clients in your area; establish, solidify, and maintain existing relationships; expand and grow CFG’s business in this sector.
  • Be accountable. Interact personally and consistently with existing and prospective customers to demonstrate our products, increase orders, respond and resolve any customer service questions. Communicate and coordinate with the VP, Sales and your team.
  • Sell sell sell. Prepare and present interesting, impressive, irresistible sales proposals, which will include product demonstrations, price quotes, credit terms and delivery commitments.
  • Serve our customers. Simply put, our successful sales leaders will deliver our customers the best experience possible 100% of the time.
  • Be the voice of CFG. Show your customers why the new CFG is a standout in the field through product demonstrations, clear, consistent communication, and unbeatable customer service. Share CFG and our story with everyone, everywhere.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5+ year of outside sales experience.
  • Demonstrated successful floral industry sales experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and customer focused.
  • Skill set must include demonstrable ability to market, sell, close deals, communicate, persuade, negotiate, and problem solve. Must be willing and able to be both a team player and individually accountable.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Office, Quickbooks, Salesforce and/or other relevant software.
  • Ability to travel to visit customers and attend trade shows on a regular basis.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
