Out of State Auditor 2 -Film

Position Duties:

One Out-of-State Auditor is needed by the Georgia Department of Revenue to work remotely for a position based in the Southern California. Salary range is from $60,000 to $80,000 depending on experience. We are seeking an experienced Tax Auditor specializing in motion picture and television production, interactive software companies, and live productions to conduct examinations of books and records.

POSITION SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must have three (3) years of accounting/finance experience in the entertainment industry, or public accounting experience with an emphasis on examining and preparing books and records of companies in the entertainment industry. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a closely related field AND a minimum of twelve (12) semester hours in Accounting.
Note: Applicants MUST attach a copy of college transcript(s) showing completion of at least 4 accounting classes OR 12 hours of accounting coursework for further consideration.
Candidates must have knowledge of all aspects of entertainment industry accounting (pre through post production accounting). Candidates must have the capability to manipulate large amounts of data, conduct reconciliation, review bank reconciliations, and an understanding of withholding and back-up with holding laws. Applicants who have obtained a Certified Public Accountant designation or an advanced degree may receive priority consideration.

Qualifications:
