Order Management Specialist

INVISTA’s Performance Solutions business is currently seeking an experienced candidate for the position of Order Management Specialist. This position will be based in our Kennesaw, GA office.

The Order Management Specialist is a process oriented individual who has a hands-on mindset and is keen to develop knowledge of integrated processes to drive continual improvement. The Order Management Specialist role resides within our Customer Service Department and is the primary interface with our internal and external customers. The primary responsibilities include managing execution of the order fulfillment process while partnering with Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, and Risk Management to ensure orders are entered, shipped and invoiced accurately for a high volume of customer transactions.


A Day In The Life Typically Includes:

  • Validate purchase order information and accurately process transactions utilizing SAP CRM in a fast-paced work environment
  • Application of critical thinking and decision-making skills to solve supply/demand issues with minimal supervision
  • Assist partners and customers to resolve issues and process a high volume of queries and transactions
  • Provide timely updates to partners and customers on order and delivery issues
  • Manage the return/cancellation process for partners and customers
  • Ensure a smooth flow of communication with fellow internal departments for timely order-to-cash processing
  • Serve as an escalation point to raise order processing issues and other issues that may impact the order-to-cash process flow
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as required, providing specific expertise
  • Develop in-depth knowledge on integrated processes and actively seek ways to obtain and share best knowledge
  • Efficiently execute direction from Supply Chain to move products from varying inventory streams
  • Adhere to and promote the culture based on the MBM® Guiding Principles


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ work experience in Customer Service or related Order Fulfillment fields, including Logistics, Supply Chain, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office products
  • Bachelor’s degree


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP system
  • Experience with CRM or comparable solution
  • Supply Chain/Inventory management experience
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English)
