Order Fulfillment Specialist

We are currently seeking an Order Fulfillment Specialist to support the Integrated Supply Chain organization. The Order Fulfillment Specialist will be managing the life cycle of a sales order in the Enterprise Resource Planning system, collaborating with different departments to ensure timely delivery, processing of the sales order related transactions, and maintenance of related master data. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales order entry, documentation as well as data analysis, validation and problem-solving skills.

ties and Responsibilities

  • Process project sales order in the system according to the fully executed contract.
  • Manage the lifecycle of the sales order by executing changes related to source of supply, delivery dates, billing plans, etc., and coordinate with different departments to effect the changes on the downstream processes.
  • Collaborate with Procurement team to ensure necessary Purchase Orders match according to the delivery timeline of the sales order, and with Logistics teams to ensure timely delivery to the customer.
  • Monitor open sales order and take appropriate action and follow-ups to different teams to ensure transactions are completed.
  • Escalate any issues related to delivery, delay in transaction processing, and any contractual obligation that may be at risk.
  • Provide customers feedback on deliveries and Proof of Delivery documentation (signed shipping documents). May need to attend customer calls and work closely with customers on delivery reconciliation.
  • Provide support as necessary to Project Management, Demand Planning, Procurement and Logistics teams for sales order changes, delivery confirmations and tracking.
  • Process change orders and returns related to the projects in the system.
  • Process material master data per the initiation process and effect updates related to master data.
  • Continuous validation that all SAP data related to a specific sales order is accurate and up to date.

  • Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to analyze data and capable of identifying gaps/issues in the sales documents, purchase orders, deliveries and able to work with different departments to resolve issues.
  • Knowledge in Supply Chain, Backorder Management, and Inventory Management.
  • Excellent customer facing communication skills including written, verbal, and presentation.
  • Proactive, Knowledge Seeking Team Player with demonstrated ability to be Professional, Helpful and Responsible.
  • Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/related degree program, or equivalent industry work experience.
  • Hands on experience in SAP is a plus.
