Title: Oracle Financials Functional Consultant
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+ months

This position is for an Oracle functional consultant.

The candidate MUST have a minimum of 10 years Oracle implementation experience.

Experience/Skills: Associates degree OR equivalent experience Minimum 0-2 years experience in Systems development and/or General Business Thorough knowledge of a professional Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Job Description: Activities/Responsibilities:

• Comprehends basic to complex business issues and contribute to IT business projects or IT sponsored technology projects by translating business needs into understandable requirements
• Supports changes and enhancements from development through production; recommending and implementing system enhancements (e.g., screen appearance, report distribution and setup testing)
• Develops new program specifications to support specific customer needs and system upgrades, including new releases and resolves problems with current systems
• Analyzes service requests to determine feasibility, extent of changes, resource requirements and project time estimates
• Meets with users to determine the end users specific needs and feasibility of pending routine projects
• Provides daily production support, including maintenance of routine production control parameters, completion of routine service requests and research problems
• Participates in conversions, mergers, maintenance and development projects, incl. analysis and testing
• Maintains manuals, standard business and status reports, training material, and other documentation
• Provides users with application documentation of fixes and/or enhancements
• Completes special projects and performs other assigned duties
