GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Work closely with business units and IS team to design, implement, and maintain software, Oracle EBS and related applications for supporting the different business units in meeting their corporate and departmental goals and objectives.


SPECIFIC DUTIES
:

  • Work with the ERP team in the implementation and technical management of Oracle e-business software and other related ERP software.

  • Support process reengineering of critical corporate accounting processes, including reviewing the end to end state of an identified process and providing recommendations on how to improve the process.

  • Identify, develop and implement improvement opportunities within the Oracle e-business software modules and other ERP software owned by the company.

  • Participate in the ERP software systems projects, implementations, upgrades and documentation

  • Develop regular communication and effective working relationships with departmental managers that utilize CRL ERP systems.

  • Participate in the coordination of ERP projects with enterprise projects.

  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL and client information.

  • Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

  • Keep work area neat and clean.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.


EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years experience implementing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Oracle Applications

  • 2 years experience with EBS R12 developing

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Oracle Applications Administration (Maintaining FlexFields, Users, Printers, Value Sets, Profile Options, transaction managers, etc…)

  • Module expertise should include Oracle Oracle Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing Applications

  • Oracle Applications customization via forms personalization and custom PLL

  • Oracle Applications customization and reporting via Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Discoverer

  • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL package and procedure development

  • SQL Loader and/or other data loader tools

  • Experience with Oracle Workflow, Alerts, and Notifications

  • Unix/AIX, shell scripting, FTP, and Telnet/SSH

  • Development and customization in a multi-org/multi-currency environment

  • Strong documentation skills using Oracle AIM model as a guideline

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong planning and organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Sound judgment and decision making abilities

  • Must work well under pressure

  • Multi-tasking with the ability to follow instructions precisely

  • Advanced technical and system analysis skills and aptitude

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to operate a PC and communications equipment.

EQUIPMENT: PC and communications equipment, midrange systems, and software tools.


OTHER
: Work outside normal business hours, including weekends, may be required.
