Oracle Developer

Job Description:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or an analytical discipline or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of administration experience with Oracle 11g+ and development experience with PL/SQL
• Must have experience with Oracle 11g and 12c databases on RAC/ASM
• Must have experience configuring Oracle Enterprise Manager
• Must have a thorough understanding of the UNIX Operating System and UNIX File Systems
• Must have strong Oracle system and PL/SQL performance tuning skills using tools such as Oracle’s Diagnostic and Tuning Packs
• Oracle 12c MT experience a plus
• Exposure to and experience with the following additional technologies: Java, C#, Ruby and source control (git)
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Kanban, Scrum, and DevOps.
• Experience with system design and architecture
• Cloud experience preferred
• API-first microservices design/architecture – distributed data patterns in line with decoupled design patterns
• Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge to keep up with the changing technology field
• Ability to work with project cycles and manage rapid changes
• Ability to think outside the box, adapt to circumstances, learn from co-workers, and share information and experiences
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to any given situation
• Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, skills in dealing with a diverse population
• The desire to make a difference, to grow and learn, and to take responsibility for generating solid products is a must
