Night Auditor

The Holiday Inn and Suites in Bolingbrook is looking for a part-time Night Auditor to work Friday and Saturday nights. The Night Auditor will provide timely and professional check in and out services in accordance with established scripting and standards. This includes: up-selling rooms, accurately processing all cash and credit card transactions, promoting teamwork through daily communication; responding to guest complaints, promoting hotel services; including ensuring staff is properly trained on service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, property management and reservations systems, safety and emergency procedures, etc., monitoring performance and recommending corrective action when needed. The night auditor is responsible for running the end of day procedures and completing necessary reporting and paperwork.

And other duties as deemed by the management team. Qualifications and Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, plus one year front office/guest relations experience . Some college is preferred and you will be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

This job requires the following: -Frequent standing behind the desk and front office areas.-Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.-Handling objects, products and computer equipment.-Use of a keyboard to operate various property management and reservations systems, etc.-Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and colleagues.-Reading and writing in English utilized often-Basic math skills-Problem solving, reasoning, motivating and training abilities-Friendly, upbeat demeanor.
