Network Optimization Analyst

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Work with internal (IBOs, Sales, Corporate Management) and external customers to gather and understand business needs/requirements.
• Analyze and cleanse data – data integrity, exclusions, special cases
• Define parameters, constraints, assumptions and guidelines
• Build, review and test optimization models.
• Present results to internal and external customers and tune models as needed
• Determine implementations strategy for tactical models and collaborate with BPI and other groups for seamless integration and implementation
• Provide model updates and support (troubleshoot issues) as needed
• Train users
• Collaborate with IT to resolve information technology issues.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor of Science in operations research, management science, analytics, mathematics, information systems, logistics, transportation, engineering, computers science, operations management
• Strong mathematical modeling and optimization techniques knowledge
• Exposure to Mojo (preferred but not required) or other optimization modeling tools
• Superior analytical, quantitative and “hands-on” problem solving skills with ability to work on their own and coordinate with multiple internal and external partners
• Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a highly visible role that will interact with individuals at all organizational levels, internal and external
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Microsoft Access skills
